Wow, 5 years is a long time for a renovation. :( The last time I was at the Smithsonian (~2 years ago), the feathered dinosaur portion of the dinosaur hall was closed, and even that on its own chapped my shorts pretty bad.

5 years' closure sucks, but on the other hand, a major museum renovation means lots of new stuff, accuracy updates, and possible commissioning of new artwork for programs or exhibits, which is relevant to my interests. :)

It is a long time! But the dino hall at the LACM was closed for several years and now it's fantastic.  :artistic:  :loved: I'm sure the new dino hall at the Smithsonian will be wonderful.  :laugh:

GOOD GOOD. I am able to see it before it closes. ; u ;
I'll take alot of pictures and even see about dumping photos in a zip for the board?
